DAN CALLAHAN
 
Dan has been actively involved with the Tasmanian music scene for over 20 years with a background across many styles of music and instruments including percussion in wind ensembles, drum kit and vibraphone in small and large jazz groups, guitar in latin bands and rock/pop music.
 
Within the Chordwainers Dan brings all of these influences and uses them primarily on the String Drums and other non-leather percussion. He has also been known to wield the Ostrich Horn and Pocopod when required.
 
Dan holds a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts (Music) and has worked as a professional brass and woodwind musical instrument repair technician for the last 10 years and is still currently employed in this field through Tasmanias biggest music store - Studio19.
